Welcome! My name is Allen Beck, owner of A B Driving Services, and fully qualified DFI Approved Driving Instructor with over 35 years driving experience with cars, lorries, buses and coaches.
A B Driving Services will strive to ensure you are taught to drive to the highest standard possible within the framework of the DFI’s syllabus.
No two learners are the same and with that in mind we always adapt our teaching methods so that you gain the most out of your learning experience.
Allen Beck
You will learn to drive in a high performance Hyundai i20N. Named after the proving grounds of Namyang; the birthplace of Hyundai cars. It also conveniently refers to the world famous Nürburgring track located in Germany, used to hone the N’s performance technologies. A truly unique experience. Fitted with dual controls for your total peace of mind.

What you need to know before you start your lessons.
Before you can drive on a public road or take your theory test, you need a valid Provisional Driving Licence. The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) application form (Form D1) can be obtained from your local Post Office.
You can apply for your provisional licence up to three months before your 17th birthday. However, it won't be valid until you turn 17 so you won't be able to have lessons on a public road, or take your theory test until then.
